Class is on Saturdays from 1 to 4 P.M. starting April 21st and continuing for 10 weeks. The cost is $370 + materials. Spaces are limited and this class fills up very fast!

Course Description

Ideal for artists in the film, television and video-game industries as well as those still developing their portfolios.  Students will learn to invent and develop character and creature designs and use the appropriate execution for each. Through demonstration, one-on-one instruction and homework assignments, this class will teach you not only the technical skills but also the creative ingenuity necessary in today’s entertainment industry. By the end of this class, students will have the skill and confidence to design characters and creatures for any genre (ex: fantasy, sci-fi)

 

About the teacher

Geof Isherwood has worked with Marvel and DC Comics for 18 years on Spiderman, Silver Surfer, X-Men, Suicide Squad, Conan, Thor and many more. He has also worked in the film industry as a concept and storyboard artist for several blockbuster films (Battlefield Earth, Rollerball, Gothika, etc.).
