Course Description
In this course students will learn how to form the basic structure of a drawing using
simple, quick and efficient methods, as well as how to perceive the body in a three-
Areas of focus will include: the proportions of the human body; points of reference on the body that aid with developing a drawing; drawing a body in motion, and foreshortening.
Nude models will be used.
About the teacher
Charles Vinh’s works can be found in institutional collections in France, Italy, Greece, the United States and in Canada where he has received numerous awards and honours, including being selected to paint the images for several series of Canada Post commemorative stamps. He is also an accomplished portraitist and art teacher.
