Course Description
Studio course (oil or acrylic) covering traditional painting techniques. This course is for beginners to painting but experience in drawing is required. Students will learn to be comfortable painting in their chosen medium and starting with simple still life compositions will move on to more complex subjects including live models.
Students will deepen their understanding of colour, composition and lighting.
About the teacher
Charles Vinh’s works can be found in institutional collections in France, Italy, Greece, the United States and in Canada where he has received numerous awards and honours, including being selected to paint the images for several series of Canada Post commemorative stamps. He is also an accomplished portraitist and art teacher.
