Class is on Sundays from 5:30 to 8:30 P.M. starting October 2nd and continuing for 10 weeks. The cost is $380 + materials. Spaces are limited and this class fills up very fast!

Course Description
Students will learn and deepen their understanding of theories of composition, theories of colour (with a focus on harmony, contrast, tone and temperature), contours, and glazing. We will also explore several painting techniques such as chiaroscuro and learn to apply primers such as gesso and modeling paste. Styles and techniques of the old masters will be applied to a variety of subjects including still life, and live models.
About the teacher
Charles Vinh’s works can be found in institutional collections in France, Italy, Greece, the United States and in Canada where he has received numerous awards and honours, including being selected to paint the images for several series of Canada Post commemorative stamps. He is also an accomplished portraitist and art teacher.
